Ashley Hall, instructor
Ashley Hall is a free-lance photographer living in Northumerland County. She captures everything from expansive landscapes to the tiniest details in weddings. Her photos have been featured in the official travel brochure published by the Northern Neck Tourism Committee and the cover of "Hook", a newspaper supplement. She partnered with Belle Isle State Park in Lancaster County where her photo prints are being sold in the visitor center's gift shop.
Following the completion of the class, participants will be able to submit their five favorite photos to be displayed on the Dug In Farms website.
Shade, drinks, light snacks and facilities will be provided. Participants are reminded to wear sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing. In case of inclement weather, the course will be rescheduled.
The farm is located at 155 Fleets Bay Road, just off Route 3 between Kilmarnock and White Stone, Virginia
Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras are the best cameras for this class, however, point-and-shoots or cell phones can be used. While these less complex cameras don’t allow the user the same control over settings as the DSLR cameras, they are growing in popularity and allow photography to be accessible to nearly everyone.
